The army guy and the sailor are really interesting. I remember when "don't ask, don't tell" was proposed; here and there guys would speak up and talk about how that was nothing new at all. Don't ask, don't tell was an unsaid, common sense thing in the military for obvious reasons. No one would ever come out back then.
Yet here is a picture of two guys holding hands. My guess is that it was just a joke on their part, but doesn't it make you wonder?
